Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, event planning, or a related field
• At least one year of experience planning events, programs, campus activities, orientation programming, hospitality, customer service operations, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational, project management, and time-management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills, and the ability to represent the university in a professional and positive manner
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including demonstrated proficiency in Excel
• Must be available to work some evenings and weekend

• Coordinate events such as Green & White Day, High School Green & White Days, Marshall Bound, and New Student Orientation
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful event execution and campus involvement
