Gardner-Webb is seeking an Enrollment Development Officer for Digital Learning to recruit prospective applicants and applicants for Online Programs and Graduate programs in the Hunt School of Nursing including doctoral, masters, and bachelors programs and to serve as a generalist for other programs in Online and Graduate. This position reports to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions and AVP for Admissions and works collaboratively with the Dean of the Hunt School of Nursing, graduate and undergraduate Program Coordinators in the Hunt School of Nursing, among other key leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Vice President for Digital Learning Enrollment, Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communication Strategies, and the faculty of the Hunt School of Nursing in the development, implementation, and assessment of marketing and recruiting plans for Online and Graduate Nursing programs (ASN, ABSN, RN-BSN, MSN, DNP, and certificate programs).
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with applicants and prospective applicants in person and by phone, text messaging, printed media, and the Internet. - Initiate, develop, and maintain partnerships with healthcare facilities, high schools, community colleges, colleges, universities, and other organizations to facilitate and enhance Nursing recruitment.
  • Evaluate monthly activity against standards and personal inquiry goals
  • Represent the University at career fairs, professional conferences, and trade shows. Travel, potentially ovenight, will be expected.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of all degree programs of the Hunt School of Nursing, including requirements, curriculum, policies and procedures, student and faculty accomplishments, and general knowledge about Gardner-Webb University.
  • Meet quantitative and qualitative departmental goals for inquiries, applications, admitted, and enrolled students.
  • Verify applicant credentials are complete for consideration by admissions committees.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in Financial Planning, Registrar Services, Student Success, and other campus offices to ensure a smooth and consistent transition from applicant to student.
  • Handle confidential student information with tact, discretion and in compliance with FERPA regulations. - Work aggressively in the community to increase public awareness of Gardner-Webb University's Hunt School of Nursing programs, success stories, and opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain a dynamic, collaborative relationship with the Hunt School of Nursing administration, program coordinators, and faculty.
  • Other duties as assigned or apparent.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Demonstrated experience working in higher education nursing programs serving diverse students preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with healthcare professionals preferred.
  • Experience working in a professional setting with demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of tasks simultaneously in an organized and meticulous manner.
  • Team-oriented approach and desire and ability to work closely with peers.
  • Able to use multi-line phone system, Windows computer, and Microsoft Office suite required; knowledge of AdmitGold/Banner student information system a plus.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Individual must have the ability and be licensed to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
