Job summary

New York University is seeking an Enrollment Data Specialist to serve as the data steward for complex enrollment datasets across GEMSS units. The role ensures data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to data standards, supporting management plans and policies.

You'll contribute to recruitment and enrollment goals with expertise in SQL, Tableau, and data governance, collaborating with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Marketing teams in a hybrid NYC environment.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Data Management or equivalent discipline
• Required Experience: 2+ years in data governance, data management, QA; data collection, retrieval, analysis, modeling, reporting
• Preferred Experience: 2+ years in higher education data governance and related areas
• Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Analytical and written/verbal communication, listening, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, proficiency with databases and ad hoc tools, BI tools (Tableau/Tableau Prep)
• Preferred Skills: SQL, Experience with Slate, Oracle Peoplesoft Campus Solutions and Collibra

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and effective management of enrollment data
• Support implementation of robust data management plans and policies
