Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Albany, GA seeks an Admissions Counselor to conduct outreach, interview applicants, and determine eligibility for enrollment in residential, non-residential, and OTP programs. You will interface with outreach contractors and coordinate with management to meet program goals.

You will build linkages with colleges, school districts, and human services agencies, attend events, and ensure timely completion of enrollment folders and required documentation for youth aged 16–24.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with related experience in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, or communications.
• Related experience in Job Corps outreach/admissions or similar youth development programs is valued.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Conducts outreach and direct recruitment activities; determines student qualifications for enrollment in residential, non-residential, and OTP programs in compliance with directives.
• Attends, exhibits, and presents at events including neighborhood activities, fairs, and job/resource fairs as directed by management.
• Develops linkages with colleges, school districts, human services agencies, youth organizations, and related entities to identify potential students and conduct outreach.
• Interviews potential candidates to obtain information for eligibility and completes enrollment folders per PRH and company requirements.
• Completes all required enrollment documentation in individual folders.

Education
