Job summary

Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) is seeking a Student Enrollment Specialist at its Indianapolis campus to guide prospective students from initial contact to enrollment day. You’ll engage with individuals in person, by phone, and via email, and you'll champion AIM’s programs to fit each student’s goals.

You’ll manage inquiries, schedule interviews, complete applications, and ensure documentation is accurate while meeting enrollment targets.

Qualifications

• Proven background in sales or customer service with measurable results against KPIs (conversion rates, outreach goals, closing ratios).
• 1+ year of admissions experience in a proprietary post-secondary educational setting preferred — but the right attitude and drive can go a long way.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students through phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings, and bring genuine enthusiasm to every interaction.
• Assess each student’s goals and eligibility, then champion the program that fits them best.
• Drive the full admissions cycle: inquiry, appointment setting, interviews, application completion, documentation, and enrollment.
• Hit and exceed enrollment KPIs—outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and closing ratios.
• Follow up with persistence and care; life can get in the way for students and you won’t let a good fit slip through the cracks.
• Represent AIM at open houses, career fairs, and community events with energy and pride in what we offer.
