Job summary

Tasmanian Government’s Department of Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for a fixed term, part-time role in Tasmania. The position provides up to 32 hours per fortnight, with a commencement date by mutual agreement and a contract until 7 February 2027.

Job description

The Team:

Campbell Town Multi-Purpose Service is a multipurpose facility with 24-hour emergency care, 6 sub-acute beds, 20 residential beds, Community Nursing, palliative care and same day infusion clinic.

Situated in the heart of Tasmania between Launceston and Hobart, within thriving heritage location of Campbell Town; a place renowned for its impressive selection of colonial buildings, masses of antique & specialty shops, all in the heart of the serene, unruffled waters of the Elizabeth River.

The Role:

The Enrolled Nurse strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.

- Works within the multidisciplinary team to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative framework.

- Assists patients with daily cares including but not limited to medication management, ADL's and wound care.

- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in both the sub-acute in-patient ward and aged care to provide high quality patient care to a variety of patients with varying medical requirements in line with NSQHS standards and AGED CARE standards.

Details of appointment

Fixed term, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 32 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date until 7 February 2027.

Salary

$73,109 to $80,524 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Salary Packaging
