The Be. Org Inc is seeking an Enrichment Teacher to work in a Baltimore, MD classroom setting. You will deliver engaging STEM, SEL, or arts activities, align with lesson plans, and provide feedback to the Curriculum & Content Development Specialist.

This role focuses on elementary to middle school students and aims to foster learning and positive relationships. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or are current college students in science or education with a passion for youth development.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver consistent, engaging, and thorough programming to elementary-middle school students.
• Prepare for scheduled sessions by reviewing lesson plans and adapting where necessary.
• Create new age-appropriate activities or lessons in STEM, SEL, or arts as assigned.
• Meet outlined learning objectives within the allotted time with appropriate engagement.
• Provide weekly written and verbal feedback to the Curriculum & Content Development Specialist.

Description

This position will work closely with the Program Department to implement lessons in a classroom setting. Complete required documents and reporting as directed. Develop and implement engaging activities. Maintain positive relationships with students and team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, engaging, and thorough programming to elementary-middle school students.
• Prepare for scheduled sessions by reviewing lesson plans/activities and adapting where necessary.
• Create new age-appropriate activities or lessons in areas of STEM, SEL, or arts as assigned.
• Achieve the outlined learning objectives conducted with the time allotted while ensuring appropriate levels of engagement.
• Create a welcoming and encouraging environment, adjusting instruction to meet the skill level and needs of the students.
• On a weekly basis, provide written and verbal feedback to the Curriculum & Content Development Specialist detailing how the students performed in class as well as any challenges or highlights encountered with the program.
• Other instructional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Requirements And Expectations

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Current college students, science or education majors, with interest in educational instruction or working with youth, graduate students encouraged to apply
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
• Strong time and organizational management
• Consistent, active, reliable, ethical, and accountable engagement and support

Salary

$25 - $50 per hour
