The YMCA of San Diego County is seeking an Enrichment Leader for Playground Partners at the Joe and Mary Mottino Family YMCA in Oceanside. The role runs Tue–Fri from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, supervising elementary students during lunch and recess and leading high-energy sports activities.
You will plan and implement lesson plans for K–5 sports, ensure safety, and act as a positive role model. CPR/First Aid within 30 days; multi-stakeholder collaboration with staff and families essential.
Enrichment - Playground Partner (Sports Instructor) Leader
The Enrichment Leader (Playground Partners) supervises and supports elementary students during lunch and aferschool, leading sports programs while ensuring the safety and well-being of students, and serves as a positive role model. The program is an anti-bullying program, where we send a YMCA staff out to a school site during their lunch time recess to facilitate age appropriate high active games (soccer, dodgeball, kickball, sharks n minnows, etc.).
