Job summary

The YMCA is seeking an Enrichment Leader to supervise and support a group of students aged 3-5, assisting with homework and enrichment activities while modeling safety and positive behavior.

You will plan and implement activities across arts & crafts, science, and sports, support online learning, and maintain a safe learning space. Schedule includes Tue, Thu, Fri, and Sat sessions with flexible daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma/GED.
• Sincere interest in and ability to work with groups of children ages 3-5.
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire (Adult and Child/Infant).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning and implementation of the daily program.
• Plan and implement lesson plans in arts & crafts, cooking, science, engineering, sports, drama.
• Support and guide students with online distance learning and homework completion.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment fostering creativity.
• Supervise participants and ensure safety at all times.
• Maintain positive relations with staff, students and families.
• Adhere to schedule and be prepared for activities each shift.
