Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking an Enrichment Leader to plan, organize and implement specialized activities for residents living with dementia. You will lead small groups through our memory enrichment curriculum, preparing materials and researching activities to engage cognitively impaired seniors.

The role requires coordinating with a fast-paced team, dependable attendance, and weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field of study.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule which may include weekends.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities
• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation

About The Role

As an Enrichment Leader with Belmont Village Senior Living, you will make a meaningful difference for cognitively impaired seniors each day by planning, organizing and implementing specialized activities for a small group of residents living with dementia. Your Typical Responsibilities
