Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking an Enrichment Leader to design and run memory enrichment activities for a small group of residents with dementia. You will follow our award-winning program curriculum and collaborate with a dynamic team to help residents thrive daily.

The role requires coordinating materials, researching engaging activities, and supporting with cognitive assessments while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance. Weekend scheduling may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work defined schedule, including weekends.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Prepare materials and conduct relevant research to confidently lead memory enrichment activities.
• Assist with Cognitive Assessments, track resident participation and maintain documentation.

About the Role

As an Enrichment Leader with Belmont Village Senior Living, you will make a meaningful difference for cognitively impaired seniors each day by planning, organizing and implementing specialized activities for a small group of residents living with dementia. Enrichment Leaders are responsible for leading engaging group activities by following our award-winning memory enrichment program curriculum. Enrichment Leaders excel in a fast-paced position, collaborate effectively, and enjoy helping seniors to thrive as they age.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities
• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation
