We are looking for a Enhancement Crew Leader. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have a minimum of one year experience as a Enhancement (Landscape and Hardscape) Crew Leader and provide a resume with contact information for a previous employer for verification.

Compensation:

• Starting pay: $28 per hour, with potential for a higher rate based on experience, certifications, and licenses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Chauffeur’s Endorsement or Chauffeur’s License
• CDL License
• At least one year of experience as a Landscape or Hardscape Crew Leader
• DOT Medical Card (Preferred): Candidates without one must pass a federally required medical exam, including a drug test.

What you'll do: The Enhancement Crew Leader is responsible for leading a landscape construction crew and overseeing daily operations, including the safe use and transport of construction equipment. This role involves performing landscape construction tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, logging crew hours, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors and clients regarding project progress and needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring efficiency and client standards are attained
• Conducting site inspections, providing hands-on leadership, and guiding soil, planting, watering, and insect control
• Driving and maintaining vehicles, training personnel with a strong emphasis on safety, handling schedules, and reviewing charts and reports

Ideal candidate:

• 3+ years of landscape install experience
• Minimum 1 year managing a 3+ person crew
• Experience operating equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.)
• Reliable transportation

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Driver’s license with a good record, strong leadership skills, and familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment
• Ability to handle physical work, weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking
• CDL
• Ability to read architectural drawings
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
