BrightView Enhancement Landscape Laborer

We're looking for an Enhancement Landscape Laborer. The starting rate is $22 per hour, which may increase based on experience and certifications/licenses.

Priority will be given to candidates with a driver’s license, and those with a chauffeur’s license will be prioritized over all others.

Responsibilities:

• Perform small-scale landscaping operations, including plant removal, replanting lawns, converting lawn areas to planters, replacing sidewalks, laying mow strips, mulching, pruning and planting trees, and working on retaining walls and drainage areas.
• Support landscaping maintenance, gardening, irrigation, and groundskeeping tasks as backup.
• Use garden tools such as rakes, shovels, and picks for planting and removal tasks.
• Maintain trees and shrubs using pruning and trimming equipment.
• Operate lawn maintenance equipment like mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
• Water plants, lawns, and gardens; apply fertilizer following scheduled standards.
• Perform planting, weeding, trimming, and blowing activities.
• Transport materials and tools between sites.

Qualifications:

• Preferred but not required: 6 months of commercial landscape experience.
• Knowledge of water application and penetration.
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to operate sprinkler systems and perform weeding.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Ability to operate trucks with trailers and ramps.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, and handle tools and plants.
• Lift weights up to 50 lbs., with specific tasks requiring more strength.
• Ability to bend, twist, and turn when planting or performing grounds work.
