This remote hourly contract role offers 10–40 hours per week, with candidates based in the United States who bring strong proofreading instincts and the ability to work independently.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated English content for grammar, tone, clarity, and style
• Identify subtle errors, inconsistencies, and awkward phrasing that undermine quality
• Improve readability and flow without altering the original intent or meaning
• Apply consistent editorial judgment across a wide range of content types and topics
• Provide structured, actionable feedback using defined quality rubrics
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Based in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Humanities, Communications, or a related field
• Strong proofreading and editing instincts with a sharp eye for linguistic detail
• Able to evaluate large volumes of content efficiently without sacrificing accuracy
• Consistent, reliable, and self-motivated — comfortable working independently
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Professional editing, copywriting, or content review experience
• Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago, MLA, etc.)
• Experience working with AI tools or content quality workflows
