The Learning Center, Bonny Eagle High School's Alternative Education program is looking to fill thepositionofEnglish Subject Teacher. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a team atmosphere in a school setting that is relationship based and extremely collaborative. The school's curriculum is centered on standards-based courses allowing teachers flexibility in their instructional choices. The Learning Center has 3 Core Pillars for their students of \"Try,\" \"True\" and \"Be Civil,\" and has as a primary goal to develop the whole student for life after High School.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in teaching education; Maine Department of Education teaching certification; experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
This position will be filled when a successful candidate has been found. Salaries and benefits may be found on the District website in the Agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association.
