Job summary

Right at Home Miami Metro, FL is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care in Miami, Florida. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, transportation to appointments, and light housekeeping, ensuring safety and comfort for clients.

Requirements include a valid CNA license or HHA certificate, driver's license or state ID, Level 2 fingerprint background check, CPR, TB/Chest X-ray; we offer flexible scheduling, paid training, overtime, holiday pay, mileage

Qualifications

• Has to be CNA license or HHA certificate.
• Driver license or state ID.
• CPR certification required.
• TB test or chest X-ray required.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check required.
• Alzheimer's/HIV CEU preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with ambulation/transfers and mobility.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Perform light housekeeping (vacuum, dust, laundry, dishes).
• Provide hospice supportive care and monitor medication reminders.
• Assist with exercises and use lifting equipment when needed.
• Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.

Essential Functions:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to):

• vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

Performs patient‑specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
