Job summary

China Global Connections is seeking a Literature Teacher for its international high school in Shanghai’s Jing An district. This full-time role starts in August 2026 for the upcoming academic year.

The teacher will deliver AP or A-Level English Literature to students in grades 7–12, create teaching plans, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback within a bilingual classroom setting. A Bachelor degree and 2+ years of AP/A-Level teaching are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a subject related to English literature or similar.
• At least 2 years of teaching AP or A-Level English literature experience.
• Certificates related to AP or A-Level teaching preferred, eligible for work visa in China.

Responsibilities

• Teach AP or A-Level English Literature to grades 7–12.
• Develop lesson plans and ensure class quality in a bilingual learning environment.
• Provide assessment, feedback, and progress tracking per school policy.
• Support individual learners and maintain attendance and discipline.
