Job summary

China Global Connections is seeking an English EAL Teacher for a high school in Guangzhou. The role is full-time and starts ASAP, teaching EAL and Social Studies under the AP framework to eager high school students.

The position includes preparing lessons, assessments, and report comments, as well as collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in the related subject.
• Teaching certificate required.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Social Studies to high school students using the AP framework.
• Prepare lessons, tutoring techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments.
• Collaboratively teach with fellow educators and contribute to curriculum development.
• Assess and monitor progress; provide targets so learners can succeed and improve.
• Provide feedback to students and parents; develop a safe learning environment.
• Maintain engaging and organized classroom routines; manage time effectively.

Job responsibilities

Teach the subject of English as an Additional Language (EAL)and Social Studies subjects to high school students utilizing the AP frameworkand ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experiencePreparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques,designing and correcting assessments, and writing report commentsCollaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, activelycontributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculumAssess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets sothat all learners can succeed and improveProvide clear and constructive feedback to students andtheir parents and caregiversDevelop supportive and safe learning environments8:00-17:00 or 9:00 -18:00, Monday-Friday，at least one night study, 19:00-21:20, per week.
