Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining records, preparing instructional materials, and facilitating language development for EL students.HQ status and education options (48 semester hours/associate degree or higher, high school diploma, or ParaPro score 460) are required.

Qualifications

• HQ HQ requirement and education options.
• Ability to develop instructional materials and adapt lessons for EL students.
• Experience or ability to support EL language development and records maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities and materials under EL teacher guidance to support language needs.
• Assists EL students individually or in small groups to reinforce concepts.
• Monitors EL progress toward language objectives and communicates progress to the EL teacher.
• Collaborates with instructional staff to improve student language outcomes.
• Instructs EL learners to show language acquisition progress and build academic skills.
