Reports To: Wethersfield Public Schools Assistant Superintendent
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $28.00 – $33.02 per hour worked paid for hours worked only. Position carries no entitlement to healthcare or paid time off benefits.
Hours: 2 hours per day (Monday-Friday)

Summary: Wethersfield Public Schools is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to serve as an English Learner (EL) Tutor at Corpus Christi School with a primary focus to assist English Learners in the development of English language skills and the acquisition of academic concepts. The tutor will help provide an effective and comprehensive education for English language learners in order for them to acquire English language proficiency and function successfully in academic and social settings. The tutor will support students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade, to help gain English language proficiency through listening, speaking, reading and writing activities.
