They will be responsible for administering the AZELLA (including training and preparation), managing caseloads, supporting EL teams and their needs, as well as managing students programming entry and exit data. **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Attend meetings with parents, ELT, general education teacher, and PEA for student programming.* Participate in professional development opportunities at the Phoenix Home Office* Collaborate with ELT on student AZELLA results* Administer AZELLA (including training and preparation)* Enter and exit EL students from PowerSchool* Maintain the EL Caseload* Support HM in maintaining lists of SEI trained teachers* Review lesson plans for integrated and targeted to ensure compliance is being met* Support campus during audits* Additional duties and projects as assigned. **Required/Preferred Education:** Bachelor's degree **Required/Preferred Experience:** * Valid Arizona teaching certification, with SEI or EL Endorsement, or the equivalent SEI or EL training, if not certificated.* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of EL experience, 3 years preferred **Required/Preferred Skills:** * Proficient in the use of technology* Great Hearts teachers must also demonstrate a commitment to and love for the liberal arts and a commitment to diversity* Previous experience working with English Language Learners **Physical Functions:** Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching.
