Job description

• Plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities for English Language Arts students in grades 6–12
• Create and modify instructional resources for students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs
• Assess changing curricular needs and offer improvement plans
• Maintain effective and efficient student records
• Create a positive environment that encourages active student engagement
• Communicate with students, parents, and internal and external professionals within established timelines
• Collaborate with peers through team teaching, meetings, staff development, communities of practice, and committees
