Leona Group Schools is seeking a passionate high school educator at Estrella High School in Avondale, AZ to join our part-time team. The role focuses on delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in a structured environment and building strong relationships with students and families.

The position requires a 4-year degree, Arizona teaching credentials, and technical fluency with data-driven instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Arizona teaching certificate, endorsement, or highly qualified in the content area (or ability to obtain).
• IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Working knowledge of instructional technology and data-driven teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that promote critical thinking.
• Differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
• Integrate technology and varied instructional strategies to enhance learning.

Collaboration & Communication

• Maintain consistent communication with families regarding student progress and needs
• Partner with colleagues, support staff, and administration to ensure student success
• Participate actively in department meetings, campus initiatives, and school events
• Engage with families and community partners to strengthen student outcomes

Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
