Job summary
REAL Journey Academies is seeking a dedicated Language Development Instructor to support English Language Learners at the Highland campus. You will deliver targeted instruction to individuals or small groups under teacher supervision, and assist with lesson planning and progress reporting.
The role requires strong English proficiency, a Bachelor’s in Education or related field, and the ability to communicate with students and parents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
- Strong English language proficiency and ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to monitor and report student progress and behavior.
- Experience working with English Language Learners is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide language development instruction to individual or small groups.
- Provide tutorial assistance to students in second language acquisition.
- Prepare lessons and administer tests.
- Monitor and report student progress on behavior and performance.
- Operate classroom technology and software.
- Confer with teachers to tailor programs for student needs.
