Job summary

The instructor will monitor student progress, administer evaluations, maintain attendance records, and serve as an advisor.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in the disciplinary field or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in course work related to the disciplinary field and one year teaching experience.
• Doctoral degree preferred; 2–3 years community college teaching experience and online instruction experience are a plus.
• Experience addressing diverse student populations and using instructional technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and support student success; develop syllabi, outlines, and lesson plans for curriculum courses.
• Review and select textbooks and instructional materials; create lectures, activities, labs, and work-site exercises.
• Monitor and record student progress; administer tests, provide feedback and maintain attendance records.
• Advise assigned students and participate in college committee activities; contribute to program assessment and quality improvement.
