We are seeking experienced English Teachers to contribute to a project focused on improving next-generation AI assistants through real-world educational and communication tasks. In this role, you will apply your expertise in language, literature, writing, instruction, and classroom communication to evaluate AI-generated outputs and help improve how AI systems handle everyday teaching-related responsibilities.

This opportunity is ideal for educators who have experience teaching English, literature, composition, creative writing, ESL, or related subjects and are comfortable assessing written communication for clarity, accuracy, tone, and instructional quality. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete realistic teaching-related workflows using AI assistant tools, including parent communication, student communication, scheduling, and classroom coordination tasks.
• Evaluate AI-generated emails, messages, schedules, and other educational content for accuracy, professionalism, completeness, and adherence to instructions.
• Apply detailed grading guidelines to assess and rank AI-generated responses.
• Review content for grammar, writing quality, clarity, tone, and audience appropriateness.
• Use expertise in literature, rhetoric, composition, and language instruction to evaluate written outputs.
• Follow detailed project instructions and evaluation criteria consistently.
• Document findings, ratings, and feedback using project evaluation platforms.
• Contribute insights that help improve AI systems’ ability to support educators and administrative workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Creative Writing, Linguistics, Education, Comparative Literature, or a related field.
• Experience teaching English, Literature, Language Arts, Composition, Creative Writing, ESL, or related subjects.
• Strong understanding of grammar, writing conventions, literary analysis, and effective communication.
• Daily hands-on experience using Google Classroom, Gmail, and Google Calendar.
• Experience communicating with students, parents, and colleagues in educational environments.
• Strong instruction-following abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience using AI tools for practical tasks and evaluating written outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Based in the United States.
• Access to an iPhone with iMessage and a Facebook and/or Instagram account.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or advanced coursework in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
• Experience grading written assignments or providing structured feedback.
• Prior experience with AI evaluation, data annotation, user testing, or quality assurance projects.
• Familiarity with prompt writing and AI assistant workflows.
• Experience developing rubrics or assessment frameworks.
• Strong ability to identify subtle differences in tone, clarity, style, and writing quality.
• Experience reviewing content for accuracy, helpfulness, and instructional value.
