Berlitz USA is seeking a Part-time English Instructor to deliver language lessons in person. The role supports students at the Learning Center, offsite locations, or via virtual formats, under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist.

The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree, is fluent in the taught language, and demonstrates strong communication skills. Availability during the day and willingness to work flexible hours are required.

PART-TIME English INSTRUCTOR

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist, the English Instructor demonstrates commitment and passion to quality language instruction and education, representing as an expert in teaching and ambassador for Berlitz. The instructor teachesthe required languages to assigned classes of students and provides student support in accordance with Berlitz teaching and customer service principles. The instructor also participates in professional development courses and activities, ensuring familiarity with goal‑oriented, student‑centered instruction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students.
• Conduct level assessments and needs‑analyses, as assigned by Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist
• Work with private and group students at the Learning Center, one of our offsite locations or virtually, assigned by Service Delivery Manager
• Meet with Academic Specialist regularly to participate in lesson evaluation and coaching plan to strengthen teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are met
• Complete training and professional development modules in @Berlitz Learning website and/or face‑to‑face live sessions, assigned by Academic Specialist
• Responsible for keeping student pedagogical and attendance records up to date
• Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials
• Perform duties as deemed fit for proper execution and delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist
