Job summary

Cleveland State Community College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Faculty Pool - English. Qualifications

• Master's degree in a qualifying field from a regionally accredited institution or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in related fields.
• Three years teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with hybrid or online delivery modes recommended.

Responsibilities

• Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as described in syllabi and guidelines.
• Beginning and ending all classes as scheduled, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
• Maintaining standards and communicating with students weekly via email.
• Evaluating students using varied methods and reporting scores promptly.
• Using college email for administrative purposes and responding to inquiries.
• Submitting requests for equipment, supplies, and textbooks through the chair or lead teacher.
