The Public Schools of Brookline is seeking a qualified instructor to lead weekly English conversation groups for parents/guardians of English learners in Brookline. EFP provides a supportive setting to practice English, discuss school topics, and connect with other international families.

Responsibilities include creating and executing lesson plans, teaching idioms, basic grammar, pronunciation, and general conversational skills across three levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced).

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute lesson plans to teach non-native speakers English.
• Teach idioms, basic grammar, pronunciation and conversational skills.
• Address cultural adaptation issues.
• Schedule and conduct three multi-week sessions per year; three class levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced.
