Job summary

Fusion Academy in Raleigh is seeking an English and History Teacher for grades 5–12. You’ll design creative lessons, shape your schedule, and collaborate with passionate colleagues in a 1-to-1 learning environment.

You’ll teach a broad range of courses, maintain records, mentor students, and engage families while growing professionally in a supportive campus culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of English and History courses — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Growth mindset with flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
