Job summary

GymBeam in Kempen is seeking an electrical engineering specialist to lead the electrical area on site, ensuring reliable operation of all electrical systems and leading cabling and control cabinet work. You will program and optimize production equipment using Siemens TIA Portal, apply 3D printing for prototyping and tooling, and collaborate with mechanical and maintenance teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in industrial electrical engineering or automation technology.
• Practical experience in control cabinet assembly and electrical installations.

Responsibilities

Regular employment contract / Monthly salary 3700€ - 4200€

What will your day look like?

• Take full responsibility for the entire electrical engineering area at our Kempen manufactureand ensure the reliable operation of all electrical systems;
• Support our custom machine-building projects from concept to commissioning by designing, assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control cabinets;
• Program, operate, and continuously optimize production equipment using the Siemens TIA Portal;
• Utilize our modern in-house 3D printing technology to develop prototypes, produce spare parts, and create tools and fixtures that improve production efficiency;
• Ensure maximum equipment availability by carrying out preventive maintenance and independently diagnosing and resolving electrical faults;
• Work closely with the mechanical engineering and maintenance teams, providing support on interdisciplinary technical tasks whenever required;
• Maintain and service the site's compressed air systems to ensure reliable plant operation;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes, equipment reliability, and technical standards.

Who are we looking for?

• Completed vocational training in industrial electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable technical field;
• Practical experience in control cabinet assembly, wiring, and electrical installations;
• Solid knowledge of control systems and hands‑on experience with Siemens TIA Portal programming and operation;
• A proactive, hands‑on mindset with a strong interest in 3D printing, prototyping, and creative technical problem‑solving;
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility for the electrical engineering area;
• The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; experience with CAD software for 3D printing is considered a strong advantage;
• A structured, reliable, and solution‑oriented approach to work;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different technical disciplines.
