Job summary

Hoval United Kingdom is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to create diagrams, develop new products, and support prototypes.

You will collaborate with international teams, maintain documentation, and ensure standards compliance for manufacturing handover and serial production.

Qualifications

• University degrees in engineering or related fields are required.
• Bachelor's and preferably Master's or Doctorate with specialization in informatics or electrotechnics.
• English at least B2, German B2 also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical diagrams per templates and customer needs.
• Develop and build new products and handle special projects.
• Coordinate with mechanical, software, and project teams.
• Modify designs and maintain design documentation.
• Provide technical support during prototype assembly and electrical production.
• Guide technicians in wiring and assembly of electrical control systems.
• Ensure electrical docs meet EN standards and manufacturing readiness.
• Assist in transferring prototypes to serial production and handover with Germany team.
• Lead technical activities within projects where appropriate.

Wage (gross) 1 900 EUR/month+ monthly variable evaluation 0 - 8% of the basic salary, + monthly attendance bonus 0 - 100 €, + bonus for loyalty

Job Description, Responsibilities And Duties

• Preparation of electrical diagrams according to templates and customer requirements
• Development and construction of new products
• Construction and processing of special projects
• Collaboration with mechanical designers, software engineers and project team
• Design changes of existing products
• Maintenance of design documentation for existing products
• Solving technical problems and introducing innovations
• Providing technical support for prototype assembly and electrical production
• Supporting and guiding technicians during wiring and assembly of electrical control systems, control cabinets, and machines
• Providing technical assistance during commissioning and troubleshooting
• Ensuring that electrical documentation is compliant with standards and suitable for manufac-turing
• Supporting the transfer of prototypes and new products into serial production
• Working closely with the production site in Germany during product handover, prototype and zero series acceptance
• Taking an active role in electrical coordination and partially leading technical activities within projects
• Collaborating with international engineering, production, and project management teams
