Stanley Black & Decker in Towson, MD seeks an Engineering Vice President to lead the Maryland Design Center, overseeing Mechanical, Electronics, Embedded Software, and more for the DEWALT power tools portfolio.

Leading ~450 engineers, you will own cross-functional program delivery, develop next-gen engineering leaders, and drive platforming, cost reduction, and quality across North America.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, product development, and technology leadership.
• Led large, multidisciplinary engineering organizations (300+ people) in a design center or site.
• Delivered cross-functional new product development programs—on time and to spec, across hardware and software.
• Familiarity with systems engineering principles and platforming in complex electrified products.

Responsibilities

• Own total engineering delivery for the Towson Design Center across all NA programs, on time and within budget.
• Drive new product development excellence and shape the NPD pipeline.
• Build and nurture a high-performance Towson engineering leadership team.
• Integrate Towson with Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and regional engineering ecosystems.
