The candidate will design, build, and maintain backend services using Ruby and MySQL, and mentor the team through complex tech initiatives. Relocation to West Valley City or remote work is supported.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across Innovation-based applications.
• Automate manual REST API chores to save engineering hours.
• Monitor system health and set up alerting for production environments.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Ruby and MySQL.
• Trace a technology number through Spring Boot services.
• Backfill Rust test coverage on risky code areas.
• Break large initiatives into Ruby increments for West Valley City delivery.
• Resurrect flaky Rust tests to stabilize the West Valley City, UT suite.
