Job summary

Delta Faucet Company is seeking an experienced engineer to execute design verification and validation testing for new and existing products, providing performance and endurance testing to internal and industry standards and supporting engineers and project teams.

You will work in a 5–9 person lab, conduct root-cause analyses, help design and build specialized test fixtures, and collaborate with the Innovation team to articulate and test new technologies for the business.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or related field with 8+ years of experience
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; experience in performance testing with lab equipment
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 quality documents (SOPs, test methods)
• Knowledge of CSA, ASME, ASTM, ISO standards and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Execute design validation and verification testing of products to internal and industry standards
• Provide technical guidance to product engineers and lab technicians
• Assist in development of new or existing products through testing and analysis
• Design and construct specialized test equipment and fixtures
• Collaborate with Innovation team to test new technologies
• Conduct root cause failure analysis on complex field returns
• Deliver up to 100 work requests with test reports annually
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes
• Maintain a 5S compliant work environment with high audit scores
