CIVCO Medical Solutions is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to perform tests on electro-mechanical devices and small plastic parts used with ultrasound probes. You will manage test samples, calibrate equipment, develop test fixtures, and document results to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
The role includes lab management responsibilities, calibration activities, and opportunities for progression into leadership.
The Engineering Test Technician will be responsible for performing tests on electro-mechanical devices and small plastic products used with ultrasound probes. This role involves managing test samples, maintaining the lab, calibrating equipment, developing test fixtures, creating testing protocols, and executing tests to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. The Technician must also understand and maintain proper biohazard, electrical, and mechanical safety procedures. The role will be hands‑on, working with a variety of products and with a team of experienced Project, Design, Manufacturing, Tooling, and Quality Engineers. This role offers a growth path into increased ownership of lab operations and, over time, leadership responsibility for lab personnel, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum of an Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school with completed classes in laboratory or scientific fields. Preferred bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical Certification is a plus. Minimum of five years of related experience. Experience leading small teams without authority, coordinating work, or managing lab operations is a plus.

The individual may perform constant repeating motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The individual is required to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
