Job summary

You will troubleshoot tools, compile data, and support process improvements with emphasis on safety and quality; requires technical schooling or equivalent experience and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant technical experience, or 2 years as Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.
• Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field with 2 years relevant experience, or 1 year as Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.
• Ability to perform sample testing and semiconductor device measurements.
• Ability to learn operation, calibration, and maintenance of lab and process equipment.
• Proficient with MS Office; some SQL/JMP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering or science skills and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment.
• Duties are mostly recurring; resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
• May oversee certain areas of processes affecting the group.
• Suggests improvements for productivity, safety, or performance.
• Follows standard procedures and safety rules; works under daily supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
