Job summary

First Solar Inc. is seeking an Engineering Test Support II to assist in DE tests on the manufacturing line or in the lab, translating engineering instructions into experimental actions and outcomes.

You will help troubleshoot tool and process issues, analyze test data, and communicate with colleagues at all levels to ensure performance goals are met. This role follows established procedures and requires safety compliance on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years as Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.
• Associate’s degree in engineering or similar technical discipline with 2 years of relevant technical experience, or 1 year as Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering or science skills on testing tasks and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment.
• Duties are largely recurring; resolves routine questions and refers complex issues to higher levels.
• May oversee certain areas/processes affecting the group.
• Suggests improvements to processes for productivity, safety, or performance enhancements.
• Follows standard procedures and company policies; completes tasks under daily supervision.
