Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking an Engineering Test Lab Intern to support validation activities for products within Navico Group's portfolio. You will work under Test Engineers and Senior Technicians, applying basic engineering principles to assist the test lab and project teams.

The role involves learning the product development process, designing fixtures, scheduling tests, and generating test reports, with full-time commitment from May to August.

Responsibilities

• Work with validation engineers and technical team members to complete tasks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product requirements and validate those products
• Identify and troubleshoot basic engineering issues – mechanical and electrical
• Develop a network of key stakeholders across functions
• Support planning and execution of validation activities including fixture design, test scheduling, execution, and reporting
• Create validation documents including test fixture concepts, procedures, and reports
• Become familiar with the product development process and deliverables
• Maintain safety culture by supporting 5S kaizen and audits
