Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Ogden, Utah seeks an Engineering Technologist to support the Plant Design and Piping Engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing technical data, coordinate with engineers, and ensure the adherence to high-quality standards. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a proficiency in MS software. The role requires 2-4 years of experience and a desire to innovate designs while working in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organize, and present technical data through relational databases.
• Ability to monitor large quantities of information and employ efficient extraction techniques in response to information requests.

Responsibilities

• Support the EGS Lead and engineers tracking of information and locating documents.
• Perform data searches and maintain open item punch list item status.
• Support meeting presentations and prepare presentation slides.
• Support the preparation and review of technical documents under the direction of an engineer.
• Ensure work is performed to high-quality standards while meeting the schedule.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proficient in software tools: MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
