The Mechanical Systems & Design Department within the Engineering Systems Research and Development Division at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) of Penn State University seeks an Engineering Technologist to design, build, and test mechanical hardware for undersea applications. The Mechanical Systems & Design Department under the Engineering Systems Research and Development Division within the Undersea Systems Office (USO) of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Technologist whose primary tasking will be to design, build, and test mechanical hardware for undersea applications. Employees in this position will work directly with engineers throughout the product lifecycle to create 3D models and associated drawings, perform basic engineering calculations, procure the necessary hardware, and assemble and test hardware/systems.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $68,604.00 - $113,100.00.
