We’re searching for a Welder/Fabricator supporting first article products for the hardware engineering team.
Serve as an R&D Technician supporting the development of Aurora’s autonomous technology, functioning primarily as a Certified Welder and fabricator in the fabrication shop.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Hardware Engineering and cross-departmental teams.
Maintain high standards of documentation and adhere rigorously to safety protocols while meeting project timelines.
Operate effectively with minimal supervision, upholding core values of respect and integrity.
Partner with the R&D Manager to continuously evaluate, streamline, and optimize shop operations and efficiencies.
Assist across other R&D shop units as needed to drive collective team goals.
Actively pursue professional growth and continuous learning opportunities.
Recognized industry certifications (e.g., American Welding Society - AWS).
The hourly rate for this position is $35-$46 per hour. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
