Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) is seeking an Engineering Technician to support Remote Weapons Systems (MK 93 and MK 97) on surface ships and other platforms.

You will assist in planning ship alterations and modernization efforts, and contribute to the integration of mechanical and electrical subsystems. The role requires hands-on RWS experience, ability to read technical drawings, and collaboration with shipyards and government teams.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 8+ years.
• Ability to obtain/maintain full secret clearance. Interim secret required to start.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Remote Weapon Systems MK 93 and MK 97 on ships.

Responsabilidades

• Support mechanical and electrical integration of Remote Weapon Systems on surface ships and other platforms.
• Read and execute drawings, schematics, work packages, and directives for system installation and modification.
• Coordinate with shipyards and government representatives to schedule installation and acceptance activities.
• Document as-built conditions, update drawings and configuration records, and perform testing during harbor and shipboard trials.
