Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related discipline with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; High school diploma/GED and additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrated skill in fabrication and electromechanical assembly.
• Understand how to select the right tool or process for completing the given tasks and producing the required outcomes.
• Ability to perform routine work with flexibility for variations in complexity, collaborating with higher-level personnel for guidance when necessary.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure adherence to quality.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned tasks for project completion, including mechanical system assembly, metal fabrication, electrical system installation, and painting.
• Maintain readiness of equipment and tools to complete tasking.
• Participate in efforts to improve processes and procedures for production and integration objectives.
• Conduct inspections, tests, evaluations, and document results; identify and resolve issues to minimize rework.
• Duties may include additional logistics work to ensure items are staged for operational tasks.
