Job summary

Raycap, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join the engineering team in Idaho. You will build, test, and evaluate prototype devices and circuits, applying your knowledge of electronics test equipment and procedures to ensure product quality.

You will administer RMA evaluation and reporting, while adhering to QMS/EMS/OHSAS standards and supporting improvements across management systems. This role emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement within our core values.

Qualifications

  • AA degree in Electronics Technology.
  • 1–3 years of practical technical experience in electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Builds, tests and evaluates prototype devices and circuits.
  • Applies knowledge of standard electronics test equipment and procedures.
  • Administration of RMA evaluation and reporting.
  • Adheres to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS).
  • Continuously assesses opportunities for improvement in management systems.

  • Assists with other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Senior Engineering Technician role applies comprehensive technical knowledge in the construction, testing and evaluation of Engineering prototype devices and circuits as well as standard product testing.

Responsibilities
  • Builds, tests and evaluates prototype devices, circuits and standard product testing
  • Applies knowledge of standard electronics test equipment and procedures
  • Administration of RMA evaluation and reporting
  • Regular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable and effective in relation to position
  • Continuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any changes needed to management systems
  • Embrace and support the 5 Core Values of Customer Focus, Talent, Excellence, Innovation and Integrity
  • Assists with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum AA degree in Electronics Technology
  • 1 – 3 years of practical technical experience in the area of electronics
Physical Demands
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, keyboards or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk frequently, sit; and may also be required to stoop or kneel
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
