A leading company in semiconductor equipment manufacturing seeks an Engineering Technician for the second shift. Responsibilities include machine testing, maintenance, and collaboration with engineers in an R&D environment. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, relevant experience, and excellent problem-solving skills.
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - SECOND SHIFT needed for a company I represent in Gloucester, MA. They design and manufacture systems and equipment to produce semiconductors and displays. This is the number one producer of ion implanters in the world.
Second Shift: from 3 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday
Pay rate: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour, depending on experience
2nd shift differential: an additional 10% per hour, not included in the base pay above
SUMMARY:
Successful candidates will perform machine testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems. Candidates must follow directions from management (Physicists and Engineers) and be able to work independently, providing expertise to complete tasks. Knowledge of Ion implanters and RF plasma systems is desirable. Effective communication and interaction with a diverse team are essential for collecting, maintaining, and interpreting data and test results accurately.
