Job summary

Entegris in Burnet, TX seeks an Engineering Technician to start, monitor and troubleshoot purification systems, decontaminate equipment, sample, fill and inspect products. The role collaborates with Engineers to run experiments, maintain PMs and ensure quality while meeting customer timelines.

The shift schedule is 3-2-2-3 (days 6am–6pm or nights 6pm–6am) with multiple levels available as you become trained and certified, offering growth in a global company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive).
• Previous chemical handling experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000.
• Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs.
• Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Run purification systems under specific quality and engineering controls.
• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment.
• Sample, fill and inspect final products.
• Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis.
• Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product.
• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards.
• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal.
• Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship.
• Propose and implement process improvements.
• Work with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
