Job summary

Entegris in Burnet (Austin area) is seeking an Engineer Technician I to join the receiving team on a day shift (6am–6pm) after training. The role focuses on starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems, with responsibilities including decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspection to ensure safety and quality while meeting delivery timelines.

You will work cross-functionally to support high-volume production, maintain lab and equipment, and contribute to continuous process

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus
• Previous chemical handling experience
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001
• Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs
• Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment
• Sample, fill, and inspect final products
• Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis
• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards
• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal
• Ensure on-time delivery of high volume products from make to ship
• Propose and implement process improvements
• Other duties as assigned
