Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI is seeking an Engineering Technician to support Plant 10 and Plant 3 engineering teams on the shop floor.
Responsibilities include assisting engineers with reports and process packages, monitoring processes for improvements, reviewing nonconforming materials, and ensuring compliance with EHS rules; requires an Associate degree in manufacturing/industrial or mechanical technology and at least two years manufacturing experience (or six months continuous).
This Engineering Technician position will be located in our Plant 10, Whitehall Casting Operation. Primary responsibilities will include:
Good oral and written communication skills.
PC literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Familiarity with Access, Microsoft Office and Mini-Tab.
Experience working in a layout environment and/or working with CAD / Unigraphics and blueprints.
