Leidos has an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Technician to work on the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC). In this position, they will provide semi-professional technical support for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Work pertains to electrical and mechanical fabrication, assembly, troubleshooting, and testing. This position will support both new hardware development projects and the sustaining engineering.
Some projects may require travel to other NASA centers or locations where testing is being performed; expect up to 10% travel.
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as minimum Health and Welfare benefits. The rate for this position will be at least $24/hr, but may be higher based on actual experience.
